Vision and mission

To improve the quality of life for patients living with pituitary conditions, and their families.

To increase awareness, and provide valuable support and information, for patients living with pituitary conditions, and their families.

How the Australian Pituitary Foundation can help

Founded in Sydney in 1994 by pituitary patients and family members, the Australian Pituitary Foundation (APF) is a national not-for-profit organisation, established to provide valuable support and information for adults and children, along with their families, living with pituitary conditions. It is their priority to create a safe space and sense of community for these individuals, whilst empowering them and their families with relevant and easy to digest information.

As a foundation, they work alongside global pharmaceutical organisations that conduct vital research into the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of pituitary conditions. They align with leading Endocrinologists, Endocrine Nurses, Neurosurgeons, ENT specialists, Radiation Oncologists and GPs, to ensure they are always working from the latest point of medical knowledge.
