Using rigorous research methods, they collect and analyse in-depth narratives from people experiencing various health or related conditions, as well as carers and health professionals. The interviews are used to produce innovative, publicly available health experience targeted online resources, including audio, video and textual clips.

Healthtalk Australia is also a member of DIPEx International, a network of researchers and digital content creators across 14 countries and 12 languages using the same approach to create research-based digital resources on over 200 health conditions.

How Healthtalk Australia can help

Healthtalk Australia use their findings to produce multi-media digital resources that provide insights to people’s personal experiences of their health condition, including what it’s like to receive a diagnosis, dealing with medicines and treatments, telling family and friends, communicating with health professionals. Their findings provide information and support and can assist with informed decision making.
